Guy is a Research Coordinator with the Firelight Group, and works with the Traditional Use Studies and Mapping and GIS teams. He conducts research and writing, undertakes community-based traditional knowledge and use field research, and provides geomatic technologies training and support.
A Geography graduate from Trinity College Dublin, Guy holds a MSc in Environment, Culture, and Society from the University of Edinburgh. Guy brings experience in land use mapping from surveying rural areas of Western Europe, as well as from working on a Google Maps project in Dublin. He has also worked in public engagement with non-governmental organizations in both Canada and Ireland in areas of sustainability and conservation.
