Sarah is a Research Intern with Firelight, and works on the Traditional Knowledge and Use Studies team in Vancouver. With a background in geography and political ecology, she has collaborated on a range of projects in BC, Alberta, and Central America that focused on community engagement with natural resource management and conservation planning in fisheries and forestry. Her Master of Arts degree in Geography, completed at the University of Guelph in 2016, examined the community impacts of marine conservation and volunteer tourism programs in Belize.
